Need an Official Record?
Send each Bureau County request to the custodian responsible for that record:
- Court case files: use the Bureau County criminal court record routes or call the Circuit Clerk at (815) 872-2001, extension 559
- State criminal histories: use the Illinois State Police Bureau of Identification for UCIA inquiries or personal Access and Review
- Arrest, booking, and jail records: call the Bureau County Sheriff's Office at (815) 875-3344
- Police incident reports: contact the sheriff or municipal police department that created the report
- Registry information: search the Illinois Sex Offender Registry through the official ISP I-SORT website
- Expungement and sealing: file qualifying petitions with the Bureau County Circuit Clerk in Room 100
